ICRISAT - Special Project Scientist

ICRISAT seeks applications from Indian nationals for the position of Special Project Scientist-Applied Genomics



Project entitled: “Integrated SNPs Utilization and Mining Pipeline”.

Eligibility : PhD or M. Tech in Computational Biology/ Bioinformatics/ System Biology/ Genomics with 2-3 years research experiences in genome analysis. Experience or knowledge on NGS data analysis, genome analysis, marker-development and decision-support tools for application in breeding programmes would be added value. Preference will be given to candidates with a good publication record.

The Reward: The position is initially for one year and may be extended depending on requirement, funding availability and performance of the incumbent. An attractive all inclusive consolidated remuneration will be paid in Indian Rupees with appropriate medical and accidental insurance coverage.
