National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT),invites applications for various academic positions for its constituent units all over India. These posts are transferable amongst the constituent units of the Council located in Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore and Shillong & NIE Delhi.
Post:
Asst Professor
Qualification :
i. Good academic
record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks
(or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is
followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an
Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign
university. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the
candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET)
conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like
SLET/SET. iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and
(ii) to this Clause, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D.
Degree in accordance with the U.G.C. (Minimum Standards and Procedure
for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the
requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for
recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent
position in Universities/Colleges/ Institutions. iv NET/SLET/SET shall
also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for
which NET/SLET/SET in not conducted.
Post Graduate Teacher
Qualification :
1. Two years’
integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional Institute of Education
of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR Masters’ Degree from a recognized
University with at least 50% marks in the following subjects:
PGT(English)- English PGT(Maths)- Mathematics/Applied Mathematics
PGT(Chemistry)- Chemistry/Bio.Chemistry PGT(Pol.Science)- Pol.Science
PGT(Geography)- Geography PGT(Commerce)- Commerce with Accountancy/cost
Accounting/Financial Accountancy as a major subject of study. Holder of
Degrees of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible. 2.
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English. Desirable: Knowledge of
Computer Application. Note : For subsequent promotion the incumbent will
have to acquire B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university.
Post Graduate Teacher (Computer Science)
Qualification :
At-least 50% marks
in aggregate in any of the following: 1. B.E. or B.Tech(Computer
Science/IT) from a recognized University equivalent Degree or Diploma
from an institution/ recognized university. Or B.E. or B.Tech (any
stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized
University Or M.Sc.(Computer Science)/MCA or Equivalent from recognized
University Or B.Sc.(Computer Science)/BCA or Equivalent and Post
Graduate Degree in any subject from a recognized university Or Post
Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject
from a recognized university Or ‘A’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate
degree in any subject Or “B’ or ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of
Information and Communication Technology 2. Proficiency in teaching in
Hindi and English. Note : For subsequent promotion the incumbent will
have to acquire B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university.
Nursery School Teacher
Qualification :
i) Senior
Secondary School Certificate or equivalent ii) Diploma/Certificate in
Nursery teacher education programme of a duration of not less than two
years or B.Ed.(Nursery) Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi; and Experience as
Nursery Teacher
