Qualification : A good M.Sc degree in Geology/Applied Geology or equivalent (minimu of 55% marks or b+ grade through out).
Desirable: NET /GATE qualification: familiaru=ity with geochemical and petrological methods and aptitude for field work.
Project: Tectonics of metabasalt-metagranite association in a Proterozonic schist belt :Petrological and geochemical approach"
Typed applications in English, giving particulars of (a) Name (in block letters), (b) Permanent & Local Address, (c) E-mail Address (d) Telephone/ Mobile No., (e) Father's / Husband's Name, (f) Date of Birth, (g) Academic Qualifications with percentage of marks obtained in each examination, (h) Work Experience (if any), (i) Sc/ST/OBC/PH status, (j) Category of the post (A or B) applying for along with originals and attested copies of all documents/ testimonials, addressed to the Professor-in-Charge, Physics & Earth Science Division, ISI.203.B.T Road Kolkata 700 108 on or before 08th Dec 2012.
