Walk –in-Interview for the following temporary position of RA and SRF’s will be Conducted on 18/12/2012 at Division of CESCRA, NRL Building, New Delhi-110012.

Essential/Desirable Qualifications:
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences specialization in Extension, M.A. Mass Communication/Journalism/Economics/ English/MSW+2 yrs Research / Development/ and/ or relevant Work Exp in relevant field

Desirable Experiences & Skill:
Conceptualize, write, and review compellingdocuments, past performance documentation, capabilities descriptions and project plans Conceptualize at a high level; review and integrate visually appealing, informative technical graphics and illustrations and relevant published
documents.
Interact with/ Interview subject-matter experts to understand the processes, technologies, business process needs, and other contextual details of a subject-matter domain and to elicit the appropriate
technical information on climate change adaptation in agriculture & livelihood etc. to compose high-quality technical writeups.
Analyze the technical requirements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other stakeholders’ solicitations.
Good oral and written communication & Documentation skills
Strong analytical and numerical skills
 Previous work experience in outdoor field projects of similar type including agriculture/ rural livelihoods


Senior  Research Fellow: (Mewat, Haryana)
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. in Agricultural with specialization in (Soil Science/ Agronomy/Extension/Plant physiology)

Desirable
 .Working experience of conducting field experiments, on farm research/field demonstration of front line technologies in farmers field
 Ability to effectively communicate with farmers, organize, implement and monitor on farm activities
 Good oral and written communication skill and documentation skills (copy of documents published to be carried for
interview)
 Previous work experience in backward areas/remote areas/in farmers field projects


Senior Research Fellow:(DELHI)
Essential :M.Sc. (Agricultural Physics/Environmental Sciences /Agrometeorology), M.A./M.Sc.
(Geography), M.Sc. (Geology/Physics), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics)/Civil Engineering with ,working experience on remote sensing

Desirable : Experience in processing satellite ,remote sensing data and handing spatial data ,in GIS and programming


The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis
initially for the period upto 31st August 2013 with possibilities of continuation for one more year on
satisfactory performance /evaluation, or period till termination of the project, whichever is less. The selected
candidates will have no claim for regular appointment at this institute as the position is co-terminus with the
project.

Age limit: 35 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and women
candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be given as per ICAR rules.


The Interview of eligible candidates will be held in the room of Principal Investigator CESCRA, NRL
Building IARI, Pusa, and New Delhi on 18th December 2012, at 10.00 am only the candidates having
essential qualification would be entertained for the interview.



Application with detailed bio-data with one colour passport size photograph pasted on it, attested copy of
certificates of age and qualifications, reprints and publications, if any, and no objection certificate from present employer may be submitted to the Head, CESCRA 9.30 am at the time of interview. The candidates should also have the original grade card/ mark sheet of the essential qualification at the time of the interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
