Qualification:
SSLC/10thpass with ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT securing minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
12th pass for COPA with ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT securing minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
Upper age limit as on 31.12.2012: Candidates should not have completed 23 years of age.
Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC candidates.
How to apply:
Interested candidates should submit their application strictly ONLINE by logging on to our website www.cpcl.co.in and click on the link ‘People & Career’ between 07.01.2013 and 23.01.2013. On submission of application through online, the applicant could print out a Registration Slip for their record. Applications will not be accepted through any other mode.
Selection Methodology: Selection will be based on the percentage of marks scored by the candidates in the relevant qualifying exam. In case of more than one candidate scoring the same percentage of marks at the cut-off level, candidate who has secured higher marks in
SSLC/Matric examination will be considered. If the marks secured in both the examinations are equal, candidate whoever is senior as per the date of birth will be considered.
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per the Apprentices Act.Scrutiny of Certificates: Candidates in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit will be called to come in person alongwith the Registration Slip and the supporting documents of their certificates for verification to ascertain the eligibility criteria. The candidates must bring the attested copies of the following certificates at the time of scrutiny, without fail:
