The qualitative requirement (or) for recruitment is class X and to qualify the departmental professional Trade Test of the Trade for which the candidate is seeking enrolment

Staff Nurse
The qualitative requirement (or) for recruitment is (i) Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Diploma in Nursing from the recognised Council (iii) Must have working knowledge of Hindi

Age Limit : 18 to 23 years as on 1st Aug 2013

Physical Standard : (a) Height. Minimum height of candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J & K will be 165 cms and 155cms for females The minimum height for Scheduled Tribes will be 162.5 cms for males and 150 cms for females. (b) Chest. The Minimum chest of candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J & K will be 78 cms (minimum 5 cms expansion). The minimum chest for all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be 76 cms (minimum 5 cms expansion). The measure of chest for female candidates is not required. (c) Others. 170 cms (Height) for males and 157cms for females candidates, 80-85 cms for males candidate (Chest) & Weight according to height and age.
