The University requires Assistant Professors in the Department of Physics under the school of Physical
Sciences. The appointment will be on purely temporary basis, for a period not exceeding one year or till regular appointment is made, whichever is earlier.

Candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission
Minimum qualification and experience required for the above posts are as prescribed by UGC. NET
shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors.
Please note that the prescribed qualifications for teaching positions stand as per “UGC Regulations on
minimum qualification for appointment of teaching and other academic staff in Universities and Colleges and
measures for the maintenance of standards in Higher Education 2010”. Eligibility shall be considered as per
