Aliah University invites applications for the Posts of Assistant Professor/ Lecturer

Qualification :
Consistently
good academic record with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in the
concerned /relevant subject from any recognized Indian University
/Institution with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point
scale) at the Master’s degree level or an equivalent degree from an
accredited foreign University /Institution. Besides fulfilling the above
qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National
Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test
accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. (2). Consistently good academic
record with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) at
Bachelor’s and Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering
/Technology from any recognized Indian University/institution or from
any accredited foreign university/institution. (3). Consistently good
academic record at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in Business Management
/Administration / in a relevant management related discipline with at
least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) from any
recognized Indian University/institution or from any accredited foreign
university / institution or First Class Bachelor’s degree and 2 -year
full - time PGDM declared equivale nt by AIU / accredited by the
AICTE/UGC; or First Class Graduate and professionally qualified
Chartered Accountant / Cost and Work Accountant / Company Secretary of
the concerned statutory body. Besides fulfilling the above
qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility
Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the
UGC like SLET/SET.
Lecturer
Qualification :
Consistently
good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at
the Master’s Degree Level in the relevant subject from any recognized
Indian University, or an equivalent Degree from Foreign University
accredited by UGC. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications,
candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for
Lecturers conducted by the U.G.C. /C.S.I.R. or similar Test accredited
by the UGC.
Desirable : Under exceptional
circumstances, the Selection Committee may waive any of the desirable
qualifications or conditions, if they feel necessary.
Age Limit : 37 years
Application Fee : Separate
application (in eight copies – one original plus seven photo copies)
for each post applied, along with an A/c payee Demand Draft of Rs. 500/ - (Rs. 250/-for PD candidates) per post,drawn in favour of Aliah University payable at Kolkata
Applicants completed in all respects, should reach the Registrar, Aliah University, Salt Lake Campus, DN - 41, Sector - V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata - 700091 on or before 22/04/2013 within 5 p.m.
