A walk-in-interview will be held on 11 April, 2013 (Thursday), at 2.30 p.m. in the Room No. 264, Department of English and Foreign Languages , Tezpur University for the following purely temporary positions in the DIT sponsored project ‘Digital Language Preservation’
Post:
Project Scientist
Qualification:
1. Ph.D. or equivalent in Linguistics 2. Experience in description /documentation of Tibeto-Burman Languages
Junior Project Scientist
Qualification:
1. M.A. in Linguistics / M.A. in English with Linguistics as specialization
OR
2. M.A. in any subject, only for native speaker of one of the Tibeto-Burman languages of Arunachal Pradesh
Age Limit :
Candidate should not be more that 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST /OBC /Women / Physically Challenged /Experienced candidates.
The selected candidates will be appointed on purely temporary basis for the period of eleven
months which may be extended for further period depending upon requirement of the Project.

The bio-data must include information regarding the candidate’s essential qualifications, specialization, experience, research work etc.
